The objections related to the proposed MLAs’ rest house and the construction work for the employees should be resolved soon so that the construction work can be completed within the time-limit, said Speaker of Legislative Assembly Girish Gautam during review of work.
The updated status of newly constructed flats and 64 quarters for the employees in the proposed MLA's rest house for the MLAs was reviewed in the Vidhan Sabha building.
Due to the situation arising out of the merger of Capital Project administration and Public Works Department, instructions were given to write a letter to the department for action due to non-receipt of allotment for the construction of the proposed building.
Instructions were also given to take necessary action in this regard that the new MLA rest house should be completed within the time limit. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly met Governor Mangubhai Patel.
The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly also met the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday. Leader of the Opposition Govind Singh met the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in his Vidhan Sabha chamber.
