Former ward councillor of ward 15 of DMC has started a different kind of stir for ensuring water supply through high rise water reservoirs in Bhuli township by sitting on dharna on top of one of reservoirs .
Ranjeet Kumar @ Babloo, who had represented ward 15, had been demanding starting water supply in township via the two highrise water reservoirs .
But despite his written demands neither the water supply department nor the DMC took any initiative .Sore by the indifferent attitude of the officials Ranjeet had announced stir yesterday and today he started his five day stir by climbing on top of the reservoir .
Talking to media ahead of climbing on top Ranjeet said , it's a decade now since the reservoirs were constructed and fixtures of intake and outgoing were installed but despite that supply to Bhuli township failed to commence .
" I cannot why but it appears the connivance of WSD and DMC authorities who happen to be hand in gloves with the water supply mafia ghat supplies water via tankers in this locality ",said Ranjeet.
District autborities had sent a magistrate to prevent him from climbing on top of the reservoir. He, however , refused to talk to him till DMC ans WSD authorities gave a written assurance of commencement of date for stating supply through the two reservoir.
