Taking stricter action staff of the Malaria Department, Municipal Corporation and Health Department during checking of larvae of dengue and malaria fined Holy Cross School with Rs 10000; the staff is engaged in actions to prevent the increasing outbreak of dengue in the state capital.
Major action has been taken in the joint campaign of the Municipal Corporation and Malaria Department on Tuesday.
Municipal Corporation has imposed a fine of Rs 10000 on Holy Cross School on Tuesday, November 22, at Holy Cross School in Ward No. 84 of Zone 19, the team of Municipal Corporation and Health Department conducted a survey of larvae in the school. In which they found the larvae of mosquitoes that spread dengue-malaria. After this, on the spot, the Municipal Corporation took action to charge a fine to the school management.

According to the survey team, they got information from the houses of some dengue positive patients that their children study in Holy Cross School, after which the school was visited. After the larvae were found, challan action was taken against the school administration.
However, the Municipal Corporation explained to the school staff and the students were also made aware of the rescue. Along with this, the team also informed the children about destroying the larvae in the school.
After the action, the CMHO told that during the intensive survey in Kolar area, they had received information about finding larvae in the school as well.
