A total of 175 students and 15 teachers of Jusco School South Park participated in the Basic Life Support Skills Program organised at Kudy Mahanty Auditorium today.
It was organised under the aegis of Tata Steel Foundation and SAFE .
The session was conducted by Dr Pushpa Tiwari and Dr Prabal Ghosh from the Tata Steel Foundation.
The students were trained on handling three emergency situations - Cardiac Arrest , Serious Road Accidents and Choking . A team of 17 students from the Manipal Medical College led by Dr Sachin Patil helped the students to practice the hands on technique of administering CPR in the correct way.
Mili Sinha thanked the Chairperson SAFE for her inspiration to organise an enlightening on this very important skill . She also thanked the entire team of Medical practitioners for their valuable inputs and praised their commitment to train the youth of Jamshedpur on this significant skill of saving lives.
