Chhattisgarh Police arrested three persons for killing a couple and their two children a few days ago in a village in Durg district.
The bodies of Bholanath Yadav (34), his wife Naila (30), son Parmad (12) and daughter Mukta (7), all residents of Kaspada village, were found in a farm house.
Durg Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallava identified the killers as Kismat Yadav (33) and his friends Akash Manjhi (33) and Tikam Das Dhritlahre, all from the same village.
Yadav is the younger brother of the man who was killed.
The police detained the victim’s brother who confessed to killing Yadav with the two men, who were nabbed from Odisha. They told the police that there was a heated argument with the deceased over an affair with a woman.
They entered the house and hacked him and his family with an axe. The police recovered Rs 7.92 lakhs which they stole after killing the family.
