Kolar police have booked three persons who attacked a person over a dispute of Rs 20 which was to be made as payment for cement purchase; victim suffered loss of memory while his brother who is CRPF personnel also sustained injuries.
In Kolar area, a cement trader along with his son attacked the younger brother of a CRPF personnel with a wooden stick in which his brother has suffered serious injuries in the attack. He has been admitted to a private hospital and suffered memory loss..
The accused also assaulted an auto rickshaw driver who came to load the cement. On the complaint of the auto driver, the Kolar police have registered a case against three people, including a cement trader. The statement of the soldier's brother could not be recorded yet due to his critical condition.
According to the police, Chatur Pal, of Sai Residency works in a medical equipment store,his brother Ramkripal is CRPF personnel. On 23 May, he had reached Mohit Maran's shop with auto driver Asharam Thakur, who lives in the locality, to buy 8 sacks of cement. After loading the cement in the auto, he made the payment.
Suresh, who was sitting in the shop asked to provide Rs 20 as the victim paid a lesser amount and Chaturpal said to discount the money which started the dispute and abuse and the victim opposed the abuse, Suresh and his son Mohit attacked Chatur Pal with a wooden handle of pickaxe.
He fell down on the ground in the attack and auto driver Asharam intervened who was also attacked. Ramkripal reached the spot after getting information about the incident and was attacked by the accused.
The family alleged that the police have registered a case against the accused in minor offences while the accused attacked with the intention of killing him.
