TT Nagar Police arrest mother of newborn twins for killing them four days ago

The TT Nagar police have arrested mother of twins for killing them and dumped in Habibganj area on the same day she reported missing from Rangmahal square.

In the early morning hours on September 23, the 27-year-old mother of twins Sapna moves out of her house in Bhopal with her two twins. She reaches Habibganj area, one and a half kilometer away from the house, putting both the children on her chest on foot. A little away from the Habibganj police station, she takes off the clothes of the children. Then about 50 steps away she moves ahead with the children.

Here, near the boundary wall behind a temple, she strangulated the two to death and dumped them in the bushes.

 After this, she took  bus to reache TT Nagar. Meanwhile, she calls her husband and tells that the children have been stolen.

After this the police starts the investigation. Women make up various stories to mislead. This continued for four days continuously. Ultimately, she reveals the truth in front of the strictness of the police.

The bodies of the children were found in these bushes in the grounds of Habibganj area.

The clothes of the children were found some distance away from the police station in Habibganj area on the day of the incident.

The woman had told the police that she had reached Rangmahal Chowk on foot. When the police checked the CCTV, the woman was seen getting down from the city bus and the children were not seen with her that was the vital clue.
