Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association is organising an International Literature Festival as part of its 25th Anniversary Celebrations. The event, under the aegis of Udhav Sahityak Manch will be held at The Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management from August 27 to the 30. The festival will be sponsored by Central Academy School and Akhil Bharateeya Sahitya Parishad.
Speaking to the media persons at a specially held press conference here today, Keshav Pandey, President of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association and Shridhar Paradkar, Chief Patron of the festival said that the festival is held to celebrate the creative spirit bringing it in conversation with the best personalities in the field of literature within and outside the country. They added that Gwalior is blessed with many people who have literary talents but had very few opportunities to display their talents. Pandey opined that the four day festival will give them a platform to exchange ideas, examine common issues and discuss mutual challenges with literature luminaries from around the world.
Pandey further said that the festival will be attended by noted movie director and writer, Piush Mishra; script writer, Abhiram Bhadakamakar; Padmasri Dr Vidya Vindu Singh; Dr Parim Somani from England and Puru Lamsal from Kathmandu, among others.
Speaking at the occasion Ms Kavita Jhalani, Director of Central Academy School and Surendra Pal Singh, Coordinator of the program said that the event will not only create awareness about literature but also provide an opportunity to those who wish to demonstrate their talents.
Today’s pc was also attended by Deepak Tomar; Arvind Singh Jadon, Prinicipal of Central Academy school; Ms Manisha Jain; Monu Rana; Rajendra Mudugal and Dr Aditya Singh Bhadouria among others.
