Walmi park is now available for people to visit

MP Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) the Ecological Oxygen Park of the Water and Land Management Institute is available for the people to visit and at the same time, a one-day 'Adventure Trekking' has been organised on July 15.

To join adventure trekking, offline registration can be done by visiting WALMI office (near Kaliasot Dam). Online registration can also be done through WALMI's official website www.mpwalmi.org and official social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). The fees for the students for joining the trekking has been fixed at Rs 30 and for others Rs 55.

Valmi has developed Ecological Oxygen Park to bring common people closer to nature. Where oxygen is also present in large quantities along with clean air. There are countless plants of many species, which have been developed by Valmi as Biodiversity Heritage.

Climate Change Center at Ecological Oxygen Park, Center of Excellence in Water Management, Organic Farming, Irrigation Methods, Plantation, Flora Fauna, Miyawaki/Valmiyaki Techniques related to intensive forest formation. Can be viewed here.

Apart from these, models of education, livelihoods from biodiversity, vertical gardens, children's gardens, word watching, gene banks and how to make compost can also be seen.

In the 'Adventure Trek' organized at Valmi Campus and Ecological Oxygen Park, trekkers would come to know about Nano Watershed and dense forest developed through swastika construction method. How one can increase the capacity of groundwater through nano watershed. The resources being tried by Valmi in this regard will be explained by the subject expert in detail.

Detailed information would be given on how a dense forest can be created on a vacant land. Along with this, how many species of plants have been planted by making swastika shapes in Valmi Forest. In order to maintain the fertility of the land, the technology developed by Valmi will be told to the common people.

In this way, they can also contribute to preventing disasters like climate change by planting saplings in the vacant land around their house.
