In a shocking incident, a 26 year old married woman Gudiya Devi was killed by her own sister and brother-in-law on pretext of black magic at ward number 6 of Banshidhar Nagar Panchayat of the district .
Sister Lalita Devi and brother-in-law Dinesh Oraon killed Gudiya Devi in front of her husband Munna Oraon, on Tuesday.
They cut off victim's tongue for performing black magic. The poor woman uterus and intestine were also taken out through the private part, due to which she died in agony. The incident happened last Tuesday. The deceased's sister Lalita Devi and brother-in-law Dinesh Oraon both are residents of Daleli village under Meral police station.
Regarding the incident, deceased's husband Munna Oraon told that both brother-in-law Dinesh Oraon and his wife Lalita Devi had come to the house of his neighbor Ramsharan Oraon alias Gota a week ago. In the meantime, Lalita called her sister Gudiya Devi and brother-in-law Munna Oraon to the house of Ramsharan Oraon for black magic.
After doing black magic for three to four days continuously, on Tuesday morning, in front of the eyes of mother-in-law, husband, brother-in-law and brother-in-law, sister and brother-in-law etc. together cut off the tongue of victim.
When even this did not fill the mind, the uterus and intestine were also taken out through his private part. After which he died a painful death. After the death, the sister-in-law and others took her dead body to the maternal uncle house Ranka and burnt the dead body there.

As there was opposition from family members Lalita Devi, attacked her sister's sister-in-law Usha Devi for opposing the incident. Everything has happened in front of the deity of the deceased.
After a lot of scraping, Usha Devi told that everything happened in front of her eyes. She told that she was not going to Ramsharan Oraon's house. But his daughter-in-law, Gudiya Devi, forcibly took him and her husband Shambhu Oraon as well. On going there, his sister-in-law started playing and pressure was made on him to play too.
Meanwhile, on receiving information about the woman being sacrificed due to black magic, station in-charge Yogendra Kumar reached Oraon Tola on Sunday and investigated the matter.
After taking stock of the spot, station in-charge Yogendra Kumar has taken into custody five people, including two sons and two daughters-in-law of the deceased's husband Munna Oraon and Ramsharan Oraon alias Gota.
SDPO Pramod Kesari said that the information about the murder of Gudiya Devi, wife of Munna Oraon, has been received only today. Some people have been brought for questioning.
Further investigation is underway.
