Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday evening flagged off the Tiranga Bike Yatra organised by Bharatiya Janata Party under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava, from his official residence here on Tuesday,
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP state general secretary Govind Narayan Shukla, Tiranga Bike Yatra’s city unit organiser Mukesh Sharma, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, local MLAs Ashutosh Tandon, and Rajeshwar Singh were present on the occasion.
“This 'Tiranga Bike Rally' has been organised with the aim to increase the feeling of patriotism among the citizens,” the chief minister said during his address.
“As the country is celebrating Amrit Mahotsava, this Tiranga Yatra has become a powerful medium to create public awareness,” he said.
Yogi said that the slogan Har Ghar Tiranga given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had now become a mass movement.
“We are moving forward with a resolve to take the tricolour to every house for the sake of pride,” Yogi said.
The bike riders mainly include party general secretary Trilok Singh,, Ram Avatar Kanojia Sunil Yadav, BJP Yuva Morcha state president Pranshu Dutt Dwivedi, Lucknow Mahanagar Yuva Morcha president Manvendra Singh, general secretary Amit Tripathi, Abhishek Gupta, Sanjay Shukla, Saurabh Tiwari and Ankit Pandey.
