Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a massive roadshow in Viramgam assembly constituency of Gujarat during an election campaign for Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Hardik Patel on Saturday amid chants of ‘Yogi, Yogi’, showering of flower petals and the sound of trumpets.
Yogi also greeted the people of Gujarat and shook hands with them as they raised saffron flags, chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
Yogi also garlanded the statue of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and made way for an ambulance despite the presence of a huge crowd during the road show, evoking tremendous applause from the people.
The crowd, which consisted of workers and local people, including women, stood on rooftops, vehicles and walls to catch a glimpse of Yogi Adityanath and recorded the moment on their mobile phones during the road show. Yogi also did not disappoint them and greeted everyone with a smile.
The local police had to struggle a lot to control the enthusiastic crowd. Songs on Lord Ram kept playing during the roadshow. The people of Gujarat also welcomed Gorakshpeethadhishwar to the state through these songs.
