Habibganj police have booked a youth for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at Banskhedi road; accused had raped victim threatening her in the past twice.

In Habibganj area, a 10th student was raped by a youth of the same locality. The student told the police that she was standing on the balcony of her house around 2 in the night.

Meanwhile, a boy living in the locality entered the house. He raped her by locking her in the room. He then fled after threatening to kill him. The accused has not been arrested yet.

According to the police, a 15-year-old girl resident of Banskhedi Kolar road is a class 10 student in a private school. She told the police that about a month ago she was sitting in the stairs of her building when  Rahul came and asked name and asked for mobile number. After that they both started talking.

On the night of September 18 she was standing on the balcony of the house. Rahul came and knocked the door and forcibly entered the house and raped her closing the door. After that he esaped victim told the whole incident to mother and they lodged complaint agaist the accused on Saturday and later police registered a case of rape.

Meanwhile Gunga police has rescued a 15-year-old girl who was held captive and raped for four months, victim was kidanapped in the month of May this year.

The accused, identified as Rohit Adivasi had kept the victim captive and sexually assautled. 

The victim used to live with her maternal grandparents and on May 30 the accused took her forcefully and later when her mother found the victim was not at home. She lodged complaint based on which girl was recused while accused escaped who was booked for kidnapping, raping and other charges.
