To be able to step foot into one’s desired industry is no cakewalk. People take years to realise their dreams and aspirations in life and work around the same to achieve success, while others may recognise their true purpose much early in life and start building a robust career. In any case, people need to first understand what they seek in life and then give it their all and surrender themselves to their goals; points out a self-made success story, who first aced the medical game by becoming a doctor and now has stunned people by winning two medals at Mr Universe 2022.
Dr Amit Talukdar hails from Guwahati, Assam, and as a cosmetic surgeon, he has already proved his tenacity and skills as a doctor. However, he says that he could make it huge at Mr Universe, held in Bangkok, Thailand, under the auspices of the World Fitness Federation, winning two medals—silver in the Classic Physique category and Bronze in the Open Bodybuilding category—because he never lost focus of his sight and his goals in life.
He explains how people often tend to lose hope, easily underestimating their innate skills, knowledge, and talents; however, they should only focus on what they can do best and keep walking their path, no matter what, just like he did. Dr Talukdar also speaks about the importance of health and fitness in life, saying that being physically fit isn’t the only goal people need to have, but they should think beyond and focus on improving mental health as well, as he considers both to be of great importance in an individual’s life.
The winner of Mr Assam Gold in 2020, Dr Talukdar, can’t emphasise enough how essential it is for people to try and be their best versions in all that they choose to do in their careers and lives as this helps them to be consistent on their journeys and learn each day to refine their talents and become more accomplished as professionals.
