SHARMISTHA GHOSH's aim is to open a foundation where she can adopt orphan kids

Success requires sacrifices and patience, is what truly proved through several stories of successful people. However, some people have thrived the world with their superpower belief system that they lit in their inner soul. Sharmistha Ghosh is one such role model for several women who dream of going beyond their limitations.

At the age of 19, being a mother with her curiosity in the world of glamour, she fostered her personality by modelling looks. With her dedication towards the fashion world, she participated in the KingFisher Calendar Model content in 2011 and was among the top five KingFisher models. In spite of her great work in modelling she decided to turn her career towards entrepreneurship and started her own restaurant in Goa called Our Shack in North Goa, launched in 2011. With no time her innovative ideas took the attention of tourists towards her restaurant and became popular in the city. It was also awarded by Goa Tourism for best ambiance and service.

However, no success is without thorns. She has to close her restaurants. but she never lost hope, she moved to Mumbai and worked as a marketing manager from 2015 and 2018. Further, seeing her growth in Toronto, Canada, she migrated and worked as a restaurant supervisor. Realising her unstoppable entrepreneur attitude she is on her urge to start her own restaurant in Toronto, working on her business plan, and waiting for the funding to get approved.

She is the idol of passion, determination, and courage. With the role of a mother, she is emerging as an inspiration to several other struggling women. She wishes to set up multiple restaurants to fulfil her daughter's dreams. She also wants to open a foundation where she can adopt orphan kids.
