Junekeri Homes is a homegrown brand that specialises in quality handcrafted goods for the modern home which celebrates the heritage of India's oldest handicrafts.
Started in 2020 by amother-daughter duo Ayessha and Sudha, the name Junekari is inspired by the word Junkeri, referring to Jugnu, a firefly. It draws creativity from the fascinating jugnu and creates and curates functional and beautiful pieces.
The brand expresses itself in the form of contemporary designs built to stand the test of time by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern designs.
It has a capsule collection of hand-woven rugs. Made of all-natural jute fibres and incredibly soft wool, these timeless collectable pieces are suited to adapt to any space- be it modern, vintage, bohemian or anything in between.
From the living room to the foyer each rug bears a stunning display of elaborate detailing that enhances any room with timeworn charm. Grounded in warmth and made in organic texture, this capsule collection is produced in small batches taking up to three to four weeks to be meticulously handcrafted by numerous artisans across India. They are hand-separated, dyed, and hand-woven using traditional wooden looms.
