Village Square in collaboration with National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) will celebrate World Localisation Day with rural changemakers, development professionals and artisans from across India.
As the name implies, event will be the culmination of stories, insights, ideas, and opportunities around Vocal for Local through storytelling by rural changemakers, panel discussion on opportunities for youth in developing rural India and local food and craft fair. Shop local food and craft from local artisans.
World Localisation Day is celebrated on June 20 every year. It aims to inspire the worldwide localisation movement for systemic change. The objective of the event is to showcase local influencers, ideas, opportunities and locally sourced products and bring them to our urban audience to get a flavour of localism.
