Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Monday claimed that the NDA has provided a corruption-free stable Government at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the country has witnessed progress in all sectors.
“The Modi Government is working with a focus on service, good governance and uplift of the poor,” said Reddy at a Press conference here.
He said the Modi Government has provided water connections to 12 crore households in nine years, given 9.60 crore cooking gas connections under the Ujjwala Yojna, helped 80 crore people by providing them food grains under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana during the Covid-19 crisis and covered 50 crore beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme.
Reddy said successful conduct of G20 meetings in India under the guidance of Modi has given the country a new recognition at the global platform. He also read out statistics with regard to decline in insurgent activities in the North-East and Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP State president Manmohan Samal said the nine years of Modi government has proved "incredible" for the country with several infrastructure development projects being undertaken by the Centre.
