A minor girl was raped by luring her of sweet berries by her neighbour at Shivlok Colony under Piplani police station area on Monday; Piplani police have arrested the accused.
A case of rape has with an 11-year-old girl studying in class 5 surfaced in Piplani area. The accused had taken her to his house on the pretext of feeding him sweet berries.
After about 15 minutes, the girl came out of her room and told her mother about the atrocity by uncle. The mother immediately reached the police station with the child. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
SHO Piplani Ajay Nair told, that the 11-year-old girl living in Shivlok Colony is a class 5 student of private school. She was playing outside the house at around 10 am on Monday, when the rapist took her away.
Meanwhile, Raju Patle, who lives in the colony, took the girl to his house on the pretext of providing her sweet berries. He misbehaved with the girl by locking her inside the room. Later when the girl started crying, he threatened her and sent her home. The girl reached her home.
