The Additional Director General of BSF Academy Tekanpur PS Bains reached the BSF Training Centre and School Meru. He will stay in the centre for three days. He was welcomed by the IG cum Commandant of Meru Centre KS Banyal. The guard of honour was given by the jawans of the centre.
After the welcome of the chief guest the centre commandant introduced all officers of the centre to the chief guest. On this occasion the commandant KS Banyal delivered different activities of the centre during the whole year. The chief guest also issued some directives to the officers for the smooth functioning of the centre.
After that he visited the Subsidiary Training Centre of the campus and tried to see the building scaling technique and artificial wall climbing technique.
The chief guest took part in Prahari Sammelan in Seema Priya Hall of the centre. On this occasion he said that the instructors and jawans of the centre are doing the hard work in the training of jawans. He further said that this centre is not for BSF but it has an importance and best among the other centres of the country.
He advised the officers of the centre to listen to the personal problems of the jawan on priority basis. This will give the extra confidence to the jawans. He said that the centre must increase the community development programme among the public.
On this occasion DIG (STS) Rajesh Kumar, DIG ( administration ) DK Pramanik and other officers were present.
