: A three-day Kalinga Mahotsav concluded at Brahmapur on Monday. Director, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata Himanshu Sekhar Khatua attended the concluding session as the chief guest.
"In Odisha we have numerous folk dances and many forms of art and culture and Ganjam district has earned a name and fame for some of them," he said.
Among others, Brahmapur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu, Aska MLA Manjula Swain, Brahmapur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, Kabisuryanagar MLA Latika Pradhan, BeMC Mayer Sanghamitra Dalai, Deputy Mayer E Vivek Reddy, IG Southern Satyabrata Bhoi, culture lover Jamini Kanta Das, Block Chairman Pushpalata Samanta, Hrushikesh Panigrahi, Sudipta Panigrahi, Uma Shankar Mishra and Principal Brahmapur ITI Rajat Panigrahi were present.
Many renowned institutions performed dance, music and song.
