BJP leaders protecting, patronising recruitment scams: Mahara

Sunday, 05 February 2023 | PNS | DEHRADUN

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has said that involvement of the BJP leaders in the latest recruitment scam in the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) proves that the recruitment scams are being done under the patronage of the BJP leaders. Interacting with the media persons here on Saturday, Mahara said that from the day one the Congress party had said that the people associated with BJP are involved in these scams and it has now been corroborated by the name of BJP leaders in the FIR registered in the assistant engineer recruitment examination. He said that first the name of Hakam Singh and now the name of a Mandal president of BJP were found involved prominently in the scams. He said that now it has been proven that the BJP is the party of the corrupt and the people of the State would never forgive the party for playing with the future of the Youth. Mahara said that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami talks about zero tolerance and corruption free administration but the leaders of his party are involved in the scams and corrupt practices. He said that it is unfortunate that people like Hakam Singh who are responsible for putting the future of the youth in the dark are easily getting bails. Mahara said that the law and order situation in the State has derailed completely and the copying mafia and the corrupt officers are having a free run in the State.
