BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, after a day break will continue with his Sankalp Yatra on Tuesday. On the seventh phase of Sankalp Yatra from October 3, public meetings will be held in 11 assembly constituencies till October 8, said State General Secretary and Headquarters in-charge Dr. Pradeep Verma.
He said that Marandi will address the public meetings at Latehar, Panki on 3rd October, Chhatarpur, Hussainabad on 04th October, Bhavanathpur , Garhwa on 05th October, Vishrampur, Daltonganj on 06th October, Manika on 07th October and Gumla and Vishunpur assembly constituencies on 08th October. The coordinators of the seventh phase of the yatra are State General Secretary Balmukund Sahay and senior leader Vinay Lal.
Earlier, on Monday Marandi and other senior BJP leaders offered floral tributes at the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his birth anniversary at Morhabadi today.
Marandi said that politics was done in the name of Gandhi for years but the country is seeing Gandhi's dreams of rural development, self-reliant India and good governance being fulfilled at a fast pace.
He said that the first effort to connect villages with the city was started by revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, which is being completed under the leadership of Modi ji.
He said that whether it is a toilet, a Jan Dhan account in the bank, a gas stove or a pucca house, these were considered to be the facilities of the urban and rich people. But today a normal family, a poor family of the village is taking advantage of these facilities.
He said that good governance cannot be imagined without eliminating corruption. Today, due to the efforts of the Prime Minister, mechanisms are being developed to strictly control corruption. The benefits of government facilities are being credited to the accounts of poor and farmers through debit.
He said that PM Vishwakarma Yojana is a meaningful effort to promote the traditional skilled artisans of the villages, which will strengthen the rural economy.
BJP Regional Organization General Secretary Nagendra Tripathi said that Gandhi's thoughts are relevant for the entire world today. The world is now reflecting on Gandhi's thoughts.
He said that the path of peace cannot be anything other than non-violence and the world is taking this seriously.
He said that proper utilization of natural resources as per requirement and environmental protection were also included in Gandhi's thoughts.
Outgoing State President and MP Deepak Prakash said that Gandhi is not a person but an idea. Life is contemplation. Gandhi is the identity of Bharati.
Prakash said that the world is now paying homage to Gandhi. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the heads of state of G20 countries paying tribute to Gandhi at Rajghat reveals the glory of Mahatma Gandhi among the superpowers of the world. The leaders after paying homage to Bapu purchased Khadi clothes from the Khadi store located on Ranchi Ratu Road and distributed it to the people. The leaders also called upon to promote and use Khadi clothes.
State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that the honor of Khadi is the honor of lakhs of labourers, workers and artisans working in rural cottage textile industries of the country.
