The Pattapur police in Ganjam district on Saturday busted a notorious burglary gang by arresting six habitual offenders, including two recovers.
The cops seized huge quantities of gold ornaments, valuables from the possession of the accused.
The arrested were identified Hari Dakua (23), Kureshu Dakua(47), Tuna (25), S.Sahiba (55) , S.Bikram (21) and B Ramesh Patro (60), Later, all the arrested accused were forwarded to court.
Reports said police teams on the instructions of Ganjam SP Jagmohan Meena conducted multiple raids and rounded up the sis accused who are habitual offenders and were wanted in a number of cases.
The cops seized a180 grams of gold jewellery including a necklace, ear rings, anklets, finger rings, mobile phones and an auto-rickshaw.
