A workshop held in Raipur on Monday called for making all districts in Chhattisgarh into export hubs.
The workshop said the 33 districts of Chhattisgarh, 12 of Maharashtra and four of Madhya Pradesh must be turned into export hubs. The workshop was organized by the Union Commerce and Industry Ministry, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and the Raipur district administration.
Raipur District Panchayat CEO Abinash Mishra said: “Chhattisgarh is moving towards economic progress at a very fast pace. Rice, steel, aluminum and iron as well as forest wealth are found in abundance in the state."
