There is an increase of 37.88 percent in the registration of motor vehicles in 2023 in Chhattisgarh, an official statement said on Sunday.
Transport Commissioner Deepanshu Kabra said 30,597 motor vehicles were registered till September 2022 whereas 42,186 motor vehicles were registered till September this year.
The Transport Department is also taking innovative initiatives towards public convenience and ensuring smooth traffic arrangements.
As a result, the buying and selling of vehicles and the number of registrations is rising in the state.
