A cleanliness fortnight commenced at the Tirathgarh waterfall premises. More than 500 volunteers participated in the cleanliness drive to end on October 15.
The programme has been jointly organized by Kanger National Park, Jagdalpur, the Union Tourism Department, 241 Bastaria Battalion, the Central Reserve Police Force, Sedwa, Unexplored Bastar, Yuvodaya Van Mitan and Eco Development Committee.
Bestowed with scenic beauty, Tirathgarh is situated at 38 km from Bastar district headquarters Jagdalpur. The rivers Munga and Bahar fall from a height of 300 feet, making it the highest waterfall in Chhattisgarh.
