Cloud, rainy season starts in the State

The weather conditions would turn extreme on Republic day as there may be drizzle in Bhopal with thunder and lightning, speedy wind of the 25 km per hour was witnessed in the state capital on Tuesday.

Due to cloud cover and winds, for the second consecutive day, the mercury remained stable during the day after night. On January 26, there are chances of drizzle and partly cloudy sky conditions.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of drizzle in the city for the next two days. Its effect will be more in the rural areas of Bhopal. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, it is raining in some cities of the state, while its effect is also being seen in Ujjain.

At present, the day's mercury has reached 30 degree celsius in many cities, but Umaria is such a city, where the maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 32.7 degree Celsius on Tuesday. It was 31 in Khandwa-Damoh and more than 30 degrees in Jabalpur, Sidhi and Khargone.

The night temperature, in most of the cities the mercury is more than 10 degree celsius. Of these, Sagar recorded the highest 16.9 degree celsius  and Narmadapuram recorded 16.7 degree celsius. The temperature is running beyond 15 degrees in Sidhi, Seoni, Satna, Betul, Bhopal. In the rest of the districts, the temperature is between 10 to 14 degree celsius. The cloudy and rainy season has started in Madhya Pradesh after a severe cold. After being cloudy for the whole day in Bhopal, it started raining from 5 pm. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Bhopal tomorrow as well.
