Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh on Sunday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 106th birth anniversary.
Chhattisgarh Congress in-charge Kumari Selja, Joint Secretary Vijay Jangid, state Congress committee in-charge General Secretary Malkeet Singh Gaidu and others paid floral tributes to her.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel wrote on X: “Respectful tribute to the first woman Prime Minister of India, the Iron Lady, Bharat Ratna Late Indira Gandhi Ji on her birth anniversary, who made India recognized as a strong nation. The life of Indira ji, who sacrificed everything to maintain the unity and integrity of India, will always inspire us all.”
