Crime branch and Habibganj police have arrested the accused involved in the robbery of a gold chain in the Habibganj area in the month of January; accused are from Betul and Nagpur and committed crime in the state capital.
The accused identified as Pawan Vishwakarma(30) and Nitin Vishwakarma(35) of Betul are brother-in-law in relation. The accused do the work of fabrication and centering. They robbed a woman in broad daylight in the posh area of Habibganj.
Crime branch investigated by checking footage of CCTV cameras from Bhopal to Betul.
On January 21, 23,  Manju Batra of E-4 Arera Colony, Habibganj was targeted by two scooty borne miscreants who came to the house in the name of electricity fitting and taking opportunity, snatched the gold chain she was wearing and escaped.
A team was set up to trace the unknown accused. The footage of CCTV cameras of shops, weekly bars, hotels were checked by the Crime Branch team on the way to reach the spot.
In the footage, 2 boys roaming in Bhopal after the incident on a gray colored scooter were spotted and they left for Hoshangabad from Bagsevania- Misrod.
On the basis of the appearance of the suspects it became clear that the accused are not from Bhopal but from outside who fled after the incident and the two were tracked.
The accused told during interrogation that Nitin Vishwakarma along with his partner Pawan Vishwakarma had gone to Bhopal in Neelbad. Both are addicted to alcohol. 
In case of non-availability of work, they used to commit robbery and other crimes which are under investigation.
