Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Tuesday expressed concern over technical problems faced in the Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) machines and server in Public Distribution System (PDS) shops and sought appropriate action.
He said this while reviewing the distribution of food grains to ration card holders here.
A government communiqué said the Chief Secretary instructed the Food Department to ensure that the ration card holders get regular food grains from fair price shops. He has asked them to monitor the process.
Food Secretary Topeshwar Verma along with officers of the Food Department, Food Inspectors of Raipur, Durg and Dhamtari districts as well as representatives and technical experts attended the meeting.
