In a move to provide benefits of Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojna (ABJAY) to maximum people, a meeting was organized on Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ranchi, Rahul Kumar Sinha. Deputy Development Commissioner Ranchi, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Civil Surgeon, Dr Vinod Kumar, District Supply Officer, Albert Billung, District Coordinator, Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana, Ashish Jha and CSC Manager were present in the meeting.

During the meeting, while discussing the action plan to cover the eligible people in the district with Ayushman card, the DC gave necessary guidelines to the officials to ensure the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana to the eligible people. He said to make sure to make Ayushman cards of pink and green ration card holders in the district.

Sinha directed to make Ayushman cards of eligible people through Common Service Center at Panchayat level in the meeting. He said that the ration dealers of the Public Distribution System should send the card holders to the nearest Pragya Kendras so that their Ayushman cards can be made. While working in camp mode at the Panchayat level, he instructed Sahiya to go door-to-door and inform them and bring them to the nearby Pragya Kendra. He also directed to speed up the e-KYC work by Sahiya in making Ayushman cards.

The DC directed to form a team for monitoring the KYC work being done for Ayushman cards in Pragya centers. He said that Ayushman Mitra should also be involved in this work. He said that all the Common Service Centers should complete their target as soon as possible and send reports related to it daily.

Sinha directed to speed up the work of making Ayushman cards by coordinating all the concerned officers so that people can get its benefits directly. While reviewing the condition of TB patients in the district, he directed them to work on their better treatment and food habits.
