Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said education was the only way to realize one's dreams.
Baghel was addressing the convocation ceremony at the Pt Ravishankar Shukla University.
He said the university was the oldest and the largest in Chhattisgarh. It has accomplished glorious achievements over six decades. The government is lending a helping hand for its rapid progress.
He said it was a matter of satisfaction that colleges have been established in the forest zones of Bastar and Surguja.
The Chief Minister earlier welcomed space scientist Prof. Y.S. Rajan to Chhattisgarh and said he had contributed significantly in taking the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to new heights.
Baghel said 76 percent of the students at the convocation were girls and this is a sign that the women were empowered in Chhattisgarh.
