Efforts for the welfare of farmers and women are commendable

The Tanzanian delegation, which was on a visit to India, called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his residence today. Chief Minister Chouhan informed the guests about the specialties of Madhya Pradesh, implemented public welfare schemes and achievements. Prominent among those who met Chief Minister Chouhan today was Abdul Rehman Kinana, who is leading the 5-member CCM delegation visiting India from 25 to 30 January 2023.

Kinana is the Vice President of CCM, Tanzania’s powerful ruling party, which has been in power since independence in 1961. Other members include Parliamentary Committee members Abdullah Mwini, Masafiri Wilbert, Thaddeo Burton and Salum Bakari Soma. The head of the delegation Kinana said that the work done for the welfare of farmers and women in Madhya Pradesh is commendable. Chief Minister Chouhan presented books and gifts to the members of the delegation.

Welcoming the delegation, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Bhopal is a city of lakes. The arrival of the Tanzania delegation in India and is a good initiative for the whole world. The goodwill between India and Tanzania is old. There are more than 50,000 people of Indian origin living in Tanzania. Special efforts are being made to deepen bilateral relations. Multi-faceted relations are shared by both the countries in various fields.

Chief Minister Chouhan informed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasis has been laid on research in the new education policy in the country. Many start-ups have begun.

Madhya Pradesh is also moving forward in this field. Khelo India activities are also happening in Madhya Pradesh. It is a matter of pride for India to have the chairmanship of the G-20 under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Work is being done to spread joy. People’s participation has been promoted in providing necessary benefits of the schemes and in works like cleanliness. Madhya Pradesh is actively working in various fields as per the Prime Minister’s resolve.

Chouhan informed that schemes have been implemented in Madhya Pradesh according to the integrated human philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Welfare of the poor has been given priority. The arrangements for roads, irrigation, electricity and drinking water have been strengthened.

Along with the Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao campaign, various activities are being conducted by the Anand department to adopt Anganwadis, to plant saplings. The citizens of this place don't believe in stocking instead they provide unused items and clothes etc. to the needy.

In Madhya Pradesh, work has been done to reduce the cost of agriculture by making loans available to the farmers at zero percent interest. Work has been done to provide irrigation and electricity facilities to the farmers, to get them the right price for their produce and to get the benefit of the minimum support price. Along with this, assistance is also provided on the loss of crops. Gram Sabhas have been empowered in Madhya Pradesh. 14 diffrent parameters have been created. After Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Ladli Bahna Yojana is being implemented, in which work will be done to provide Rs one thousand per month to the women of the family. Beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana receive tuition fee and medical assistance for children. An amount of Rs 16 thousand is provided to pregnant women for delivery in the Sambal Yojana. Assistance is also given for natural and untimely death. Industrialisation is being promoted in the state.

The members of the delegation were very happy with their meeting with Chief Minister Chouhan.
