Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to people to participate in the pledge programme under ‘Lifestyle for Environment’ (LIFE) on June 1.
The Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB) is organizing the event to create public awareness on environmental protection. It will be held from 8 am to 5 pm, an official communication said on Wednesday.
CECB has urged officers and employees of all government and non-government departments, people with public and private sector industries, school/college students, social organizations and self-help groups to be part of the event.
CECB officials have released a WhatsApp number for people to send photos and videos of their oath. It can be taken in Hindi or English in groups or individually.
