Crime branch and Piplani police station arrested 5 accused of Fedbank robbery case from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and recovered hi-tech equipment, 3 country made pistols, fake Aadhaar cards.
On April 5 at 10 am in Fed Gold Bank located in Indrapuri under Piplani police station area was targeted by 4 masked armed assailants who entered with the intention of robbing the bank but they failed to rob and escaped.
During investigation information was received that one of the accused involved in the incident had also come to the bank on March 18, 2022 in connection with the gold loan, but due to lack of local ID, he was refused the gold loan.
Initially Arun Sharma and Nitesh Yadav were identified who were also with four others in the rented room in Bhopal.
Both the teams raided several places and arrested in the investigation Premraj Yadav, Shivam Kumar, Shivshek Ranjan , Vipin Kumar and Nitiraj alias Prince were was arrested and recovered 7 mobile phones, hi-tech equipment, 3 country made pistols, 20 cartridges, scissors, tape.
In detailed interrogation, Shivam told that the entire incident was planned by Sunny Singh and Subodh Singh, who were lodged in Beur Jail, Patna while Niyatank was guiding from West Bengal jail.
Shivam had gone back to Bhopal after seeing the location of Fed Bank before the incident, who went to Bihar and prepared Prashant alias Raja, Premraj, Shivshek alias Shivesh, Vipin and Nitiraj.
Sunny Singh and Subodh Singh had sent fake Aadhaar cards, gold and modern equipment and mobile phones, country made pistols and cartridges.
