In a Session on Arts and Culture: An Integral Element in Socio-Economic Development was organized by CII, Banwarilal Purohit, Governor, Punjab & Administrator, U T Chandigarh said, “CII should focus on the interstate exchange of artists, it will not only help in enriching the Arts but also have a socio-economic benefit.” Chakresh Kumar, Director Tagore Theatre, shared his vision for this cultural hub of Tricity. Deepika Gandhi, Associate Professor, Chandigarh College of Architecture said, “The city needs to have dedicated policies on Tourism, Public Art and culture as it will help to strengthen the Arts & Culture ecosystem in Chandigarh.”
