The ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign was organized at Ranchi University, with Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan participating as the chief guest. The program was conducted as per the UGC guidelines.
Governor and Ranchi University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajit Kumar Sinha on the occasion also garlanded the picture of Mahatma Gandhi followed by Governor taking part in the cleanliness drive.
The Governor said that it is the responsibility of every Indian to keep the country clean. Mahatma Gandhi used to clean his home and toilet himself. We need to learn from him.
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajit Kumar Sinha said that we should clean our university campus every day. He mentioned that there are ten thousand NSS (National Service Scheme) youth volunteers in the university, and they consistently run cleanliness campaigns.
CCDC of Ranchi University Dr PK Jha, Controller of Examinations Dr Ashish Kumar Jha, Dr BR Jha, Coordinator of NSS Dr Brajesh Kumar, Dr GS Jha of IQAC and others participated in the program.
