FOWA arranges bonfire, blankets for needy

Ranchi is reeling under a chilling unbearable cold due to considerable drop in the temperature since the last few days. President of FOWA Vibha Srivastava continued the winter campaign in the New Year to protect the poor people from harsh weather conditions. Forest Officers Wives Association (FOWA) members arranged a bonfire (Alaav) at various places in Ranchi to provide some relief from severe cold wave to the homeless people, who spend their night under open sky. They also distributed blankets to the needy people to keep them warm. President Vibha Srivastava, Vice President Ruchi Upadhyay, Secretary Poonam Ranjan, Joint Secretary Sunandita Das, Ranjana Samanta, Rajyashree Singh, Pooja Bakshi, Vishakha Verma arranged the resources to provide some comfort and warmth to the homeless and poor during this winter.

BoI celebrates Hindi Diwas

World Hindi Day was celebrated by Bank of India (BoI) Ranchi Zonal Office, and Mandar branch on Tuesday at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir School premises located in Bijupada under the chairmanship of State Level Bankers Committee (JSLPS)-Jharkhand Head, Subodh Kumar, in which school students Speech and Essay writing competition was also organized. Kumar while congratulating the winning children called upon them to continue and refine their creativity. Manager, Rajbhasha, Rajesh Yadav gave a lecture on the topic of Hindi in present times, explaining the importance of Hindi Day and World Hindi Day. Chief Manager Neeraj Kumar Chaturvedi encouraged the children and said that instead of getting disheartened after failure, they must participate in competitions like speech and writing in future also. On the occasion, , Senior Branch Manager, BoI, Mandar branch, Rahul Kumar, Gemma Toppo from Zonal Office, Kunal Kumar, school teachers, students were present.

SBPS students qualify for National Science Exhibition

The students of SBPS performed stupendously in a two-day CBSE regional Science Exhibition held at Ranchi. Around 102 students from 33 schools across the state participated in the event. Vinayak Kumar and Kumar Divyanshu Raj of class VIII, under the able guidance of their mentor, Sanjay Kumar, created the model of wave electricity dealing with the production of electricity through sea waves, where the up and down motion of the sea waves is shifted to a shaft connected to a generator, thus, producing electricity and qualified to participate in the CBSE National Science Exhibition 2022-23.  

SCS student wins Jharkhand Idol, 2022

Akash Gupta of Class V won Jharkhand Idol 2022, conducted by SYFT Global Event. He will be provided with 3 album songs in Hindi, Nagpuri and Khortha Languages . Recently he has also bagged the First Prize   for Geeta Chanting in both School and City level organised by Chinmaya Mission, Ranchi. Principal Samita Sinha congratulated Akash and said that she is proud of him and his achievements. She wished him luck for future endeavours.
