Chhattisgarh Police on Monday seized 100 kg cannabis valued at Rs 50 lakh and arrested a 42-year-old man for transporting it to Madhya Pradesh from Odisha.
Mahasamund Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh identified him as Dinesh Kumar Kesharwani of Madhya Pradesh.
The police intercepted a car in Basna town following a tip. The contraband was stuffed in two gunny bags.
