CMPDI as a prelude to World Environment Day 2023, and as part of Mission LiFE is organising various awareness programs on Water conservation, Minimization of food wastage, Reduction of E-waste, Reduction of Single-use plastic etc, through various campaigns and activities/competitions like Know Your Tree campaign, Slogan writing competition, Poster making competitions, Quiz competitions, Cyclothon, Seminars and Essay writing competition at Hqs and all its RI's from 18th May 2023 to aware people to adopt Sustainable lifestyle and to engage individuals in mitigating the adverse effects of climate change.
The Mission LiFE creates and nurtures a global network of individuals, namely ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who will have a shared commitment to adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles. Through the P3 community, the Mission seeks to create an ecosystem that will reinforce and enable environmentally friendly behaviours to be self-sustainable.
CMPDI organises the following awareness programs/competitions till date, Know your tree campaign at CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi and RI-VI, Singrauli; Drawing competition at Hasdeo, Bilaspur and RI-IV, Nagpur; Awareness session on Global Environmental issues at Dhanbad, Waste segregation at Source at RI-VII, Bhubaneswar; Jute bags distribution at RI-V, Bilaspur; Esaay writing competition on the topic " Environmental ethics in society" at CMPDI(HQ), Ranchi and on " Plastic Pollution" at RI-VII, Bhubaneswar; Cyclothon at RI-V, Bilaspur; Cleaning of Pond and Pond Ghat at Hasdeo and Bilaspur; Awareness campaign on Minimising Food wastage through Posters at CMPDI(HQ), Ranchi and RI-VI, Singrauli, Taking Pledge to employees to adopt sustainable lifestyle at RI-VI, Singarauli; Inauguration of E-waste collection point/Box at RI-V, Bilaspur.
