Subhash Ramnath Pardhi, Member, National Commission for Scheduled Castes and his team on Tuesday visited BHEL, Bhopal unit and discussed in detail the Orders of the President on the issues related to reservation. He held a meeting with the top management of BHEL Bhopal and the associations of Scheduled Castes Commission and took stock of the compliance of the President's Order to ensure reservation for Scheduled Castes.

The program started with the garlanding of the statue of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ambedkar Park. Later, Pardhi reviewed the facilities available in the UHV Lab located at BHEL, Bhopal plant and praised the world class facility available in the unit.

On this occasion, Vinay Nigam, Executive Director, Avinash Chandra, General Manager (HR & LGX), Moti Singh Rawat, General Manager (Feeders & DTG), GP Baghel, General Manager (Quality), Ram Bhau Patil, Additional General Manager (HCM) and Liaison Officer Scheduled Castes, AA Siddiqui, Additional General Manager (HR), Sapan Suhane, Additional General Manager (Town Administration) and Prajjal Adak, Sr Manager (HR), were present.

Nigam explained in detail to the committee about the facilities available for SC employees and the congenial atmosphere prevailing in the factory.

He said that through the association, the management gets full cooperation in every work area including production work.

The members of the commission appreciated the work done by BHEL Bhopal in compliance of the Orders of the President on the issues related to reservation and upliftment of Scheduled Caste people.
