The Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana has brought huge relief to citizens in urban areas as they now get important government documents at their doorstep.
An official communiqué on Wednesday said that more than 50,000 people have benefitted thus far from the scheme.
Also, more than 1 lakh others have sought information regarding the scheme.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated Mitans for the achievement. “We are committed to bridging the gap between the government and the public," he said.
The scheme was started in May 2022 in all 14 municipal corporations of the state to make public documents available to citizens at their homes.
