Petrol and diesel tank operators have warned to stop operations if parking is not made operational by May 29 which has been closed at Bakania depot in Bhopal.
The tank operators would stop supply from May 30 if the parking would not become operational till May 29.
The MP Tanker Works Association has also given a letter to the depot manager and the collector regarding this.
Association President Abdul Rehman said that petrol and diesel are supplied from the depot to Bhopal city and many districts including Vidisha, Sagar, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara. There is a daily movement of about 400 tankers.
President of the association Rahman told that earlier empty and full tankers used to stand inside the parking lot. For a few months, tankers are not being allowed to park inside the parking lot of the depot.
Tankers of Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Reliance and Ethanol stand on the roadside. Because of this, there is always a fear of an accident happening. Therefore, permission should be given to park the tanker inside the parking lot.
The office bearers of the association say that if the parking is not started from May 29, then they would protest from May 30. Apart from this, there is also a problem regarding toilets and drinking water.
