Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Sunday that physiotherapists played a key role in removing the adverse effects people suffered from after the Covid pandemic.
“During that difficult time, we learned about the importance of physiotherapy," Baghel said.
"Today, physiotherapy is proving to be highly beneficial in serious cases such as paralysis and neurological disorders,” he said.
He was addressing the ‘Physiocon 2023” organized in Raipur.
Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo was present at the event. Both Baghel and Singh Deo were honoured with mementos.
Physiotherapists from across the state attended the show.
Singh Deo said: “Physiotherapy has the utmost importance in sports as well; it has become an integral part of sports today.”
