Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will launch the Chhattisgarh Gramin Awas Nyay Yojana at the Awas Nyay Sammelan programme to be held on Monday in Parsada (Sakri) village in Bilaspur district, it was announced on Sunday.
Gandhi and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will distribute the first installment of Rs 25,000 each to 1.30 lakh beneficiaries of the Chhattisgarh Yojana as well as the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana and Rs 1 lakh each to 500 beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayta Yojana’, an official statement said.
They will also lay the foundation stone of 185 development works worth Rs 524.33 crore besides distributing 2,594 appointment letters to teachers. Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo, Chhattisgarh Congress in-charge Kumari Selja, state Congress chief Deepak Baij and Assembly Speaker Charan Das Mahant will be special invitees. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ravindra Choubey will preside over the function.
