Ranchi DC directs to achieve target under SBPKSY

In the meeting held by Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rahul Kumar Sinha on Tuesday, the physical and financial divisions of all the schemes related to social welfare were reviewed. He directed to achieve the revised target under Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana (SBPKSY) by February 15, 2023. He said that all child development project officers should perform work with personal interest so that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of this scheme.

A review meeting of schemes related to the Health and Social Welfare Department was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Mr. Rahul Kumar Sinha. Civil Surgeon, District Social Welfare Officer, District Malaria Officer, District Tuberculosis Officer, ACMO, all MOICs, District Program Manager NHM, all CDPOs and other concerned officials were present in the meeting held at Deputy Commissioner Auditorium, Collectorate Block-A.

During the meeting, while reviewing the progress of schemes related to social welfare, Sinha gave necessary and appropriate guidelines to the officials concerned. All Child Development Project Officers were instructed by him to enter their daily activities on the Nutrition Tracker App. For this, instructions were also given to train the concerned maids at the project level.

While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana during the meeting, the DC directed to achieve the target by executing the pending correction queue under the scheme. He said that action will be taken against the personnel and officials who show indifference in the work. He said that everyone should work with full responsibility.

While reviewing the Janani Suraksha Yojana, Sinha reprimanded Budhmu, Kanke, Chanho, Mandar, Sonahatu centers for poor performance in newborn care, the  DC directed to improve the performance as soon as possible. He reprimanded Ormanjhi, Kanke and Lapung blocks for their poor performance in institutional delivery under the scheme and directed them to improve their performance. Necessary and appropriate guidelines were given by the Deputy Commissioner regarding cashless facility, free vaccine, medicine, check-up, arrangement of blood, free facility in case of referral during delivery under Janani Shishu Suraksha programme.

Sinha directed to pay the salary/honorarium of Sahiya, health worker, para medical worker on time. The DC directed to work towards improving the health centers by using the untied funds. He said that attention should also be paid to the basic facilities at the centre.
