Madhya Pradesh Congress General Secretary Munawar Kausar has strongly objected, condemned and denied Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev's recent statement in Barmer Rajasthan.

Baba Ramdev's statement is part of misleading propaganda based on lies beyond truth which is condemnable, making statements about Islam without knowledge incites hatred, malice and damages the integrity of the country. This statement of Baba Ramdev is going to spread hatred in the country and deliberately spread confusion which is not in the interest of the country.

Munawar Kausar further said that Namaz is for good and not for bad, Namaz makes a person a good man. Islam teaches to respect women no matter what religion they belong to.

Islam does not allow any woman or girl to be humiliated or raised, but the person who does this is an oppressor according to Islam and doing so is a crime, whose punishment in Islam is death, so that the common man should not commit such a crime.

If a true Mussalman (Muslim religion follower) performs Namaz and stays away from sins anyway, he cannot be a tyrant.

Any religion does not teach sin or oppression, it teaches humanity. Criminals should not be linked to any religion. Criminals are in every religion and religion. That's why no particular religion should be targeted. Islam gives the message of peace, love and peace.

Munawwar Kausar said in his statement that Baba Ramdev should apologize immediately for his statement, failing which, demonstrations and legal action will be taken against him.
