Handcart is a means of livelihood. Today I am giving instructions with immediate effect that no hand cart will be confiscated. For this, rules should be made by the Urban Administration Department. Those who do not have a hand cart, a plan will be made to give them a hand cart on subsidy. For this, the government will give a subsidy of Rs 5,000. It is the religion of Shivraj to remove the problems of the poor.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Mahapanchayat of hand cart pushers, hawkers and street vendors of the urban areas at the CM's residence.

Chouhan has said that street vendors are hardworking brothers and sisters. They earn their livelihood by toiling very hard. You are a labour seeker, the world cannot run without you. You go door-to-door and sell goods to people. Every small and big thing of need is easily delivered to the people.

The 23,000 acres of land freed from the mafia will be given on lease to the poor. It is the religion of the government to remove the problems of the public. All the eligible will be benefitted by including in the scheme. He said that the benefits of the schemes will be given without any discrimination. Arrangements will be made to send twelfth pass children to different institutions to learn work. They will also be given Rs. 8,000 per month during trainning. I am like a member of your family. That's why the panchayat has been called to give you the benefits of the schemes. The condition of street vendors will be changed by bringing social revolution. Chouhan said that don't become weak, become strong. For this, it is necessary to work in an organised manner. Create your own organisation. Keep a dustbin in the hand cart and install a solar battery. Don't drink alcohol.
