Two Maoists, one of them carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head, surrendered to security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, police said on Thursday.
Vetti Raja and Rava Soma turned themselves in on Wednesday, citing disappointment with the Maoist ideology, Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavhan said.
Vetti, who carried the reward, was a commander of the Chetna Natya Mandli, a cultural wing of the Maoists. Rava was a militia member.
